Today I have a funky skull nail art tutorial for you, guys. These are reverse stamping nails I created using Pueen Cosmetics stamping products. If you are interested in any of the polishes etc, I have listed them all down below.
Hanami Matte Top Coat
Pueen Cosmetics stamping plate Halloween Party 01
Pueen Cosmetics black stamping polish 805 'Black Jack'
Pueen Cosmetics stamper
Dotting tool to fill in the image
Basic step by step instructions:
Apply base coat and let it dry completely.
Apply white nail polish for the base and let it dry completely too.
Choose nail polishes for the gradient and draw stripes with them on the makeup sponge. Dab the sponge into the nail until satisfied with the effect.
Apply top coat and let it dry. Apply ORLY 'Bonder' a rubberized base coat to create stickier surface.
Choose the image of sculls on the stamping plate and apply black stamping polish onto it. Remove excess polish with the scrapper angled approximately 45 degrees and pick up the image with the clear stamper.
Choose the colours for filling the image and apply dots of them onto the nail art mat. Carefully fill in the image with the dotting tool.
With a rolling motion and using a little preassure stamp the image onto the nail.
Remove excess of the decal and clean up around your nails.
Apply fast drying top coat and after it gets dry, apply matte top coat.
