Dandelion Silhouette Nail Art
Updated: May 25, 2020
Hi lovely people!
For this Dandelion Silhouette Nail Art Lou used:
Twinkled T Nail Art Glamour Mat
Pueen Cosmetics black stamping polish
Careflection Nail Art Line Flower Pattern Design Stamping Image Plate Stencil L034
Pueen Cosmetics latex tape liquid peel off & cuticle guard
Seche Vite Fast Drying top coat
Sally Hansen Matte top coat
Basic step by step instructions:
Apply a base coat to protect your nails and let it dry completely. Lou used UNT peel off base coat.
Paint lines on the surface of a makeup sponge with each of the chosen polishes, overlapping them a little to make those colours blend better. Then press/dab the sponge on the nail art mat (in this case Twinkled T Nail Art Glamour Mat) and repeat these steps until happy with the opacity of the gradient. Apply your regular (not a fast drying one) top coat and let it dry completely.
Carefully peel off the dry rainbow decals and cut them into preferred shapes.
Apply a layer of white nail polish and let it dry a bit, so that it is still tacky and place the decals on the nails.
Protect your skin with latex tape. Lou usually uses Pueen Cosmetics latex tape liquid peel off & cuticle guard
For the stamping choose the image on the stamping plate. Lou used Careflection Nail Art Line Flower Pattern Design Stamping Image Plate Stencil L034
Apply stamping polish onto chosen image (Pueen Cosmetics black stamping polish). Use the scraper angled at approximately 45 degrees to remove any excess polish off of the image and pick it up with your stamper.
With a rolling motion, apply the image onto your nail.
After cleaning around your nails, seal your design by applying a layer of top coat and that is completely dry - apply mate top coat (optional). Lou used Seche Vite Fast Drying top coat and Sally Hansen matte top coat
